ABYSSAL FOREST (BR)
Abyssal Forest är ett band som på riktigt har gått från mörker till ljus. Tidigare var de ett blackmetal-band på den mörka planhalvan med texter som präglades av misantropi, nihilism och andligt mörker. Längs vägen mötte bandets ledare Anderson Albuquerque Jesus och är nu tillbaka med nya bandmedlemmar och ett album som präglas av texter som handlar om hopp och försoning genom andliga strider, avsägelse och frälsning. En intressant detalj är att Abyssal Forest nya skiva "The Great Day Of His Wrath", som släpptes i maj, är producerad av Phorgath (Jérémie Bézier), som var en mångårig medlem i det belgiska blackmetal-bandet Enthroned. Abyssal Forest is a band that has truly gone from darkness to light. Previously, they were a black metal band on the dark side of the stage with lyrics that were characterized by misanthropy, nihilism and spiritual darkness. Along the way, the band's leader Anderson Albuquerque met Jesus and is now back with new band members and an album that is characterized by lyrics that are about hope and reconciliation through spiritual battles, renunciation and salvation. An interesting detail is that Abyssal Forest's new album "The Great Day Of His Wrath", which was released in May, is produced by Phorgath (Jérémie Bézier), who was a long-time member of the Belgian black metal band Enthroned.
