BATTLED (NL)
Battled är ett alternativt punkrockband från Ede i Nederländerna, som grundades under pandemin 2020 av sångerskan Eline Everdina och gitarristen Jos Louwen.
Med en genomtänkt mix av både hårdrock och amerikansk pop-punk levererar bandet låtar som berör livets tuffa sidor, men där ett underliggande budskap om hopp alltid tillåts skina igenom.
Så här långt har bandet släppt två EP:s, “From The Silence” (2022) och “Growing Pains” (2024) men jobbar nu på nytt material som kommer släppas inom kort. Ett första smakprov har vi redan fått genom nya singeln "Frenetic", som släpptes i September.
Efter att ha vunnit flera bandtävlingar hemma i Nederländerna är bandet nu redo för att möta en internationell publik. Spelningen på Light The Dark blir både bandets första spelning i Sverige och även en av deras första spelningar utanför Nederländerna.
Battled is an alternative punk rock band from Ede, in the Netherlands, founded during the 2020 pandemic by singer Eline Everdina and guitarist Jos Louwen.
With a thoughtful mix of both hard rock and American pop-punk, the band delivers songs that touch on the tough sides of life, but where an underlying message of hope is always allowed to shine through.
So far, the band has released two EPs, “From The Silence” (2022) and “Growing Pains” (2024) but is now working on new material that will be released soon. We have already got a teaser in the new single "Frenetic", which was released in September.
After winning several band competitions back home in the Netherlands, the band is now ready to meet an international audience. The gig at Light The Dark will be both the band’s first gig in Sweden and also one of their first gigs outside the Netherlands.
