30 år efter sin senaste spelning på svensk mark kommer Bride äntligen tillbaka till Sverige! När de senast var här var det för att lansera skivan "The Jesus experience" (1997). Nu kommer de för att säga farväl till den svenska publiken, då Bride i mars annonserade att 2026 kommer bli deras sista år som band. I samma veva utlovade Bride en avskedsturné där några få utvalda platser skulle besökas. Vi är därför tacksamma att Norrköping och Light The Dark blir ett av stoppen. Extra passande blir det då Dale och Troy Thompson just nu spelar ihop med de svenska musikerna Anders Köllerfors (trummor) och Jonatan Samuelsson (bas) från Narnia. Albummässigt är Bride aktuella med dubbelskivan "Vipers and Shadows" från 2025. Skivan är bandets sista album då de annonserat att något mer album inte kommer släppas. Under spelningen på Light The Dark kommer du få höra Brides största hits blandat med några nyare låtar.
30 years after their last gig on Swedish soil, Bride is finally coming back to Sweden! The last time they were here was to launch the album "The Jesus experience" (1997). Now they are coming to say goodbye to the Swedish audience, as Bride announced in March that 2026 will be their last year as a band. At the same time, Bride promised a farewell tour where a few selected places would be visited. We are therefore grateful that Norrköping and Light The Dark will be one of the stops. It is especially fitting as Dale and Troy Thompson are currently playing together with the Swedish musicians Anders Köllerfors (drums) and Jonatan Samuelsson (bass) from Narnia. Album-wise, Bride is current with the double album "Vipers and Shadows" from 2025. The album is the band's last album as they have announced that no more albums will be released. During the show at Light The Dark you will hear Bride's greatest hits mixed with some newer songs.
