LES CARLSEN (USA) - THE VOICE OF BLOODGOOD
Efter Michael Bloodgoods hastiga bortgång i slutet av juli 2022 lades bandet Bloodgood ned för gått. Bandets sångare Les Carlsen bildade istället Les Carlsen Band tillsammans med sin fru Joyce och ett gäng välkända medlemmar. Som gitarrist återfinns mångårige Bloodgood-gitarristen Paul Jackson, liksom även Craig Church, som sågs som livegitarrist i Bloodgood när live-albumen "Alive In America" och "Shakin' The World" spelades in. På trummor finns också Jeffrey McCormack, som spelade trummor live med Bloodgood 2002–2006. Bara basisten Juan Van Dunk har annan musikalisk bakgrund.
I december 2022 släppte Les Carlsen albumet "He's Coming", ett album som till viss del byggde vidare på Bloodgood-soundet. I november 2025 kommer uppföljaren "Free Will" att släppas. Det är därmed med ett rykande färskt album i bagaget Les Carlsen kommer till Light The Dark. Du kan därför räkna med att få höra låtar från båda dessa album, men även flera Bloodgood-klassiker.
After Michael Bloodgood's unexpected death at the end of July 2022, the band Bloodgood dissolved. The band's singer Les Carlsen instead formed the Les Carlsen Band with his wife Joyce and a group of well-known members. The guitarist is long-time Bloodgood guitarist Paul Jackson, as well as Craig Church, who was seen as a live guitarist in Bloodgood when the live albums "Alive In America" and "Shakin' The World" were recorded. On drums is Jeffrey McCormack, who played drums live with Bloodgood from 2002 to 2006. Only bassist Juan Van Dunk has a different musical background.
In December 2022, Les Carlsen released the album "He's Coming", an album that to some extent built on the Bloodgood sound. In November 2025, the sequel "Free Will" will be released. It is therefore with a fresh album that Les Carlsen comes to Light The Dark. You can therefore expect to hear songs from both of these albums, but also several Bloodgood classics.
