OPUS IRAE (DE)
Opus Irae är ett symfoniskt blackmetal-band som bildades i södra Tyskland 2011. 2018 släppte bandet debutsingeln “The Burden Of Man” på klassiska Endtime Productions, men det kom sedan att dröja ända fram till i november 2024 innan debutalbumet “Into The Endless Night” släpptes, även det på Endtime Productions.
Bandets skiva är mixad och mastrad av ingen mindre än Dan Swanö (Edge of Sanity, Dissection, Nightingale) och med artwork av den legendariske Necrolord (At the Gates, Dissection, Emperor).
Bandet bemästrar konsten att växla mellan råbarkad brutalitet och symfoniska svävande orkesterarrangemang. Dynamiken däremellan är både fängslande och imponerande. Alla som någon gång sett bandet live vet att en konsert med Opus Irae därför är en oförglömlig upplevelse där bandet återskapar albumets intrikata ljudlandskap med fantastisk precision och vildsint energi.

Opus Irae is a symphonic black metal band that was formed in southern Germany in 2011. In 2018, the band released their debut single “The Burden Of Man” on the classic label Endtime Productions, but it was not until November 2024 the debut album “Into The Endless Night” was released, also on Endtime Productions.
The band’s album is mixed and mastered by none other than Dan Swanö (Edge of Sanity, Dissection, Nightingale) and with artwork by the legendary Necrolord (At the Gates, Dissection, Emperor).
The band masters the art of alternating between raw brutality and symphonic, soaring orchestral arrangements. The dynamics in between are both captivating and impressive.
