SINCE THE DEATH (SE)
Ända sedan starten 2016 i Linköping har Since The Death varit ett enmansprojekt som enbart satsat på studioinspelningar. I studion har däremot bandets grundare Oscar Rask haft med sig olika gästmusiker, men projektet har hela tiden kretsat kring Oscars låtskrivande och musicerande och på senare år även hans sång. Inför Light The Dark har dock Oscar bjudit in sina musicerande vänner för att göra projektet till ett band. Spelningen på Light The Dark blir därför bandets första livespelning någonsin!
Since The Death har sedan starten hunnit släppa tre fullängdsalbum via amerikanska Vision Of God Records och en EP via amerikanska Charon Collective. Utöver det har de även hunnit släppa några fristående singlar. Nyligen gick bandet även ut med att de nu har signat med norska Nordic Mission och att de kommer släppa bandets kommande fjärde album.
Musikaliskt bjuder Since The Death på en blandning av thrash-, death- och blackmetal. När det gäller texterna är det Oscars kristna tro som ligger till grund. Texterna framförs sedan växelvis både på svenska och engelska.

Since their inception in 2016 in Linköping, Sweden, Since The Death has been a one-man project that has only focused on studio recordings. In the studio, however, the band's founder Oscar Rask has brought along various guest musicians, but the project has always revolved around Oscar's songwriting and playing, and in recent years also his singing. Ahead of Light The Dark, however, Oscar has invited his music-making friends to turn the project into a band. The gig at Light The Dark will therefore be the band's first live gig ever!
Since The Death has released three full-length albums via the American Vision Of God Records and an EP via the American Charon Collective. In addition, they have also released a few independent singles. The band recently announced that they have now signed with Norwegian label Nordic Mission and that they will release the band's upcoming fourth album.
Musically, Since The Death offers a mix of thrash, death and black metal. When it comes to the lyrics, Oscar's Christian faith is the basis. The lyrics are then performed alternately in both Swedish and English.
