BETHESDA (SE)
Bethesda är ett nytt svenskt band som tog sina första stapplande steg redan 2014 när Torbjörn Weinesjö (Veni Domine, Cell 9) och Germán Pascual (Narnia, Essence Of Sorrow, Solo) inledde ett samarbete. Planerna fick dock läggas på is, då livet kom emellan. Men 2022 återupptogs samarbetet och inspelningen av bandets debutalbum inleddes. Inspelningen har sedan fått ta den tid den har behövt utan att bandet har behövt stressa fram något. De har istället kunnat jobba med varje detalj med omsorg och passion.
Som trummis tog Bethesda in Torbjörns bror Thomas Weinesjö (Veni Domine, Cell 9, Saviour Machine m.fl.) och som basist bjöds Gabriel Ingemarsson (Veni Domine) in. Detta har gjort att bandet redan från början har ett starkt samspel och en kemi andra band får jobba hårt för att hitta.
Bethesda spelar 70-tals doftande hårdrock som både kan tilltala den gamla skolans hårdrockare, men också en ny yngre publik som upptäckt 70-talets sound genom de många retrodoftande band som kommit på senare år.

Bethesda is a new Swedish band that took its first tentative steps back in 2014 when Torbjörn Weinesjö (Veni Domine, Cell 9) and Germán Pascual (Narnia, Essence Of Sorrow, Solo) began a collaboration. However, the plans had to be put on hold when life got in the way. But in 2022, the collaboration resumed and the recording of the band's debut album began. The recording has since taken the time it needed without the band having to rush anything. Instead, they have been able to work on every detail with care and passion.
As a drummer, Bethesda brought in Torbjörn's brother Thomas Weinesjö (Veni Domine, Cell 9, Saviour Machine, etc.) and Gabriel Ingemarsson (Veni Domine) was invited as a bassist. This has meant that the band has had a strong interaction from the beginning and a chemistry that other bands have to work hard to find.
Bethesda plays 70s-flavored hard rock that can appeal to both old-school hard rockers, but also a new younger audience that has discovered the 70s sound through the many retro-flavored bands that have emerged in recent years.
