JERUSALEM (SE)
De skrev då skivan "Dancing on the Head of the Serpent" (1987) som en motreaktion.
2027 har det gått 40 år sedan "Dancing on the Head of the Serpent" släpptes.
Jerusalem was one of Sweden's first hard rock bands when they were formed in 1975. What made them even more unique was that they combined heavy tones with a radical Christian message, something that was controversial at the time and which led to them being accused of playing the devil's music.
After a tour of Germany in the mid-80s, Jerusalem got tired of the devil getting so much focus in hard rock. They then wrote the album "Dancing on the Head of the Serpent" (1987) as a counter-reaction.
In 2027, it will have been 40 years since "Dancing on the Head of the Serpent" was released. This is something that will be highlighted during Jerusalem's gig at Light The Dark. You will therefore hear several songs that have not been played live in a very long time.
