After that Solus Christus had to cancel their show at the side stage, we have now found a replacement band. So give a warm welcome to till The Crazymen!
The Crazymen is an experimental garage punk band from Motala, Sweden, that is not afraid to stand out both musically and lyrically. The band was formed in 2001 and this year celebrates 25 years as a band. When the band was formed, the idea was to mix different musical styles and to spread the message of the Bible. The band has stuck to that vision, so don't be surprised if their punk is suddenly replaced with or mixed with hard rock, hardcore, pop, reggae and jazz or that you hear an instrumental song or a ballad. Humor has also been a central part of the band's history, as well as their capture of punk's socially critical vein in songs such as "Vaccinpass på utedass" and "Cash is King, Vildjuret försvinn". The Crazymen took their band name from First Corinthians 4:10 in the Bible, where it says to be a fool for Christ. During their long career, the band has released several albums and demos, and has played many gigs around Sweden and even a few in Germany. The band's latest album "Living Above the Cyclone Firestorm" was released in 2022, but now a new album is planned for release in 2026 which will be called "Cornerstone or Cornerstoned". Don't miss The Crazymen on Light The Dark's side stage.
